Heres the situation...
Im looking to double up quick and get dealt pocket queens... and Im the big blind. The blinds are at 500/1000 and the first four hands fold. One players raises 1,000. He has a small chip stack, so I think he may have something like KJ or any two face cards. If he had a pocket pair he would have pushed more, especially with his small stack. He was being a little cautious, so I knew I probably had him at this point.
The player after him, who is the big chip stack with 78,000 chips raises 1000 more. This guy has been bullying people out of pots all night. He had more than double everyones chips. With only one caller thus far, I thought for sure he was just trying to buy another pot and push people around a bit. The hands after him fold.
So I have a decision to make. I have the ladies in my hand, and 1,000 chips in the pot. Do I just call and make it 3,000 total? Do I fold now that the price to play is 3 times my big blind and the big chip stack is playing against me? Or is it time to push and see how much these people like their hands?
What would you do?
